Hello, my name is Michelle and I have decided to open up daycare in my home. This allows me to stay home with my boys and do what I love which is taking care of children. I have 2 boys ages 6 and 4. My husband is a firefighter. I have been in the medical field for the last 15 years. Before that I worked in a daycare at a local gym and was a nanny for a baby boy who was born at 25 weeks. In high school I was in the child development program that allowed me to work in the elementary schools.
My goal is to provide your children with a safe, fun and loving environment. A home away from home. We live in the Kennedy school district. We live in a safe quiet neighborhood, we have a large fenced backyard with a play structure and lots of fun toys.
I have my food handlers card, I have completed the Oregon central background registry and I am pediatric cpr/first aid certified. I will begin taking kids in May 2017. I will only be taking a maximum of 3 children. My hours are 7-5:30. I will provide meals and snacks for an additional $2.50 per child per day.
