About Me: I have a Bachelor's of Science in Social Work and am currently a homemaker. I have been fingerprinted through the NYS Teacher Registry and am approved to substitute teach for school districts within both the Capital Region and WSWHE Boces. I am currently uncertified for home daycare but am working towards being certified in the near future.

About the Home: I am located within the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake school district and am just off of Route 50, directly off of the CDTA bus line. I live in a ranch style home with a fully furnished basement and a large, fully fenced in backyard. The basement is furnished like a classroom, including multiple bookshelves full of children's books, art areas, musical instruments, and plenty of games. My backyard is grassy with a swing set, multiple slides, and many other outdoor children's toys.

About the Program: The hours of the program are flexible, as the general timeframe is from 7 am to 5:30pm with modifications being made as necessary. Each day will include breakfast, lunch, and one or two snacks, depending on the time that your child is present. There will be a structure to the day's activities, including set time for free play, art activities, educational games, and general life skills instruction. Education is very important to me, and as such I will be running a Pre-K style education system, including teaching counting, the alphabet, reading, colors, and other general skills. For school-aged children that may be here after school, homework help and other age appropriate activities will be done as well. Additionally, my mother-in-law, a retired special education teacher and school administrator, will be helping run the program on occasion.
