Mountain Meadows Montessori

We are a home based Montessori classroom out of our house in Erie, Colorado. We are licensed by the Colorado Division of child Care to serve children, 6 weeks to 6 years of age with a limit of 8 children. At this time only serving 2-6 years old children. As our schools grows we will be able to add more options.


We follow the Montessori philosophy. An educational method created By Dr. Maria Montessori through her scientific observations of children.
Our lead teacher is Montessori trained through MCER - Montessori Educational Center of the Rockies with 11 years experience teaching/learning the Montessori method. We offer a safe, creative, dynamic, and spontaneous environment for the child to learn through play.

The Furniture is child sized; and the activities are developmentally appropriate, and individualized for each child.

Our main classroom is out of the basement, but we incorporate almost the whole house into the learning experience. The children have opportunities to explore and be creative within the different settings throughout the day.

Our commitment is to the child's happiness and education.
