Morning Light Pet Care is owned and operated by Shelly T., a veterinary nurse and college graduate with a degree in Animal Welfare. Not only do I care for any and all domestic animals including dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, and reptiles, but I also specialize in special needs animals who require extra attention and expertise.

My greatest passion is working with animals who need extra attention and care. This includes working with animals suffering from:

Blindness and/or deafness.
Post-surgery.
Diabetes (including animals requiring subcutaneous insulin injections).
Paralytic disorders (including spinal injuries).
Neurological disorders (including epilepsy).
Severe allergies.
Degenerative medical conditions (cancer, degenerative myelopathy, etc.).
Chronic diseases (Lyme disease, kidney disease, arthritis, etc.).
Separation anxiety.
Extreme fearfulness, possessiveness, food aggression, and other behavioral issues.

Even if your pet is the healthiest, happiest kid on the block, then you can rest assured knowing that the person caring for your pet is trained in veterinary nursing practices and trauma care and therefore knows how to document an animal's health in order to spot a potential problem as well as precisely what to do in the event of an emergency.
