Let me start off by saying I am not posting this lightly but out of utter shock how a local company can treat someone so horribly and it was because of such a horrible experience I am posting as a buyer beware. I even chaulked it up to an "off day" for them but was attacked in so many different ways it was unbelieveable.

We had heard that Mop It Moose did a good job for one of our friends and wanted out house cleaned before we went away as we work crazy hours and thought it would be nice to get a deep clean done for the Spring. We had them over to our house for a "walk through". They were positive and jovial and touted all of this stuff that they could do and do for a regular deep clean. They removed lightbulbs and cleaned them, they cleaned dog bowls (sort of unnecessary bc you can just throw them in the dish washer but whatever), they move our your stove and refrigerator and clean behind that, they clean all swithches and outlets, they clean all windows. The owner touts that she was raised by germans so knows how to clean. Their rate is rather steep but for a good deep clean I was willing to pay for it. Also as they were walking through my home with my husband and I (which they had no problem with on the walk through) they told us about hours. They go into a home with 5 hours, could be less, could be more. at 5 hours for 2 people for 1,400 sq ft of space you would think this would be very managable and we would be impressed. This could not have been further from what we actually got from this company on top of a completely nasty and unprofessional attitude when we nicely tried to address these deficiencies with them.
1 hour late to clean
The sliding glass door track was not cleaned
The buffet to the right of the sliding glass door shelves had not been dusted
The window to the right of that still had a layer of dust on the frame as well as all bedroom windows (these were only installed a month ago so not that hard to clean)
The metal dining table had not been polished
The hanging coffee mugs had not been dusted/cleaned
The transition to the front door had not been cleaned
The coffee maker on the counter still had a layer of dust on it
The top of the refrigerator was dirty and the sides had not been cleaned and had not been moved and cleaned underneath.
The airfryer had not been touched
Only half of interior windows had been cleaned - this is something we had been told they do.
Many pictures had not been dusted and you can run your fingers along the frame and get a layer of dust
The coffee table in the living room had only been dusted on the top and not the shelf
The hanging plants in the living room had not been dusted/wiped down yes mason jar lights had been removed and cleaned right next to them which are sealed and no dust and dirt can get in.
It seems that the only two doors in the house that were cleaned/dusted were the laundry room door and the front door - the rest have a layer of dust on the inset panels
Our bed had not been made - I have normally experienced cleaning companies doing this
and probably the biggest thing of all - our 3/4 master bath had not even been touched! For 5 hours, 2 people and $400 dollars to clean approximately 1400 sq ft - this is not the job that we were expecting nor do we think is appropriate. To just skip over a full bathroom when that along with the kitchen is what most people are looking for when you clean a home is mind blowing to me.
After I very nicely addressed this with them and chaulked it up to maybe an off day I received a very nasty and unprofessional message back calling out our home as being "filty" as if it was unconceivable that we would even ask a cleaning company to come in and clean however they walked our house with us a week before and happily took on the job, we were told there was vomit on our couch which there was not, there was acrylic paint as I am a painter (easel in the living room and we discussed me being a painter when they were here) which my rescue puppy got into and got on our couch. There was also a big deal in the message that there was slime in the waterbowl for my dogs..... pretty normal especially with a large mastiff mix, they slobber everywhere - again no reason she couldn't have just thrown that in the dishwasher or just passed over it as this is something we regularly need to do with large dogs and the message continued on in the same unprofessional tone. I gave them the opportunity to rectify the situation or atleast have a conversation and the amount of disrespect that I received was astounding from a small business owner. I don't want anyone else to experience this same thing.
Buyer beware.... wish we would have researched them more.0
