Montessori Inspired Child Care

Hi! I am offering a loving, Montessori inspired, learning environment in my home near Hobson and I-355 in Woodridge. I have two wonderful girls, 4 years old and 7 months old and we would like to welcome two additional children to our home. Preferably preschool to kindergarten age. I have designed a bright, clean, fun learning space filled with books, art materials and educational toys. We listen to music, work on projects, exercise and plant in our organic indoor garden (which will continue outside in the spring). Safety is a priority in my home: every area is carefully child proofed, toys are sanitized as needed and the classroom is cleaned daily. When warmer weather arrives, we will spend time in our backyard exploring nature, playing at the water table and walking to one of the nearby parks. My ideal schedule would be 2 to 3 full days per week, 7am to 6pm at the latest. If you think you would be a good fit for our family, I am willing to consider alternate schedules. I can provide healthy snacks and hot lunches if desired. A little more about me... I am a mechanical engineer by degree and have spent the past 13 years in a corporate environment with little flexibility for working Mom's. Since I had my first child, I have slowed down my pace to a part-time role and now am looking to devote my time to my kids and hopefully yours too! I am very responsible and trustworthy, as you can find out from my references. Oh, and I should mention we have one kitty cat who keeps to herself during the daytime. (In case there is an issue with allergies).
