30 Years of Teaching and Childcare Experience. Full Year Program. Daycare Openings for 6 weeks to 5 years old. Infants have their own nurturing classroom environment designed for infants. Teachers guide each infant in order to help them practice and master all of the steps that lead up to walking and talking. The classroom makes them feel safe to explore, build strength, and express themselves. Infants develop a healthy relationship with sleep, eating, and toileting. In our Montessori room for children 2-5 years old, children have access to increasingly sophisticated Montessori activities. These activities support the child in learning to solve problems and make choices, as well as practice a variety of physical movements. Through individual lessons with the teacher and during their own independent investigation, children gain advanced knowledge of math, science, geography, botany, language, and culture. In addition to academic work children are invited to take part in setting the table and taking care of the classroom. These activities inspire children with real world tasks and tools, helping them to develop key executive function skills as they start to see themselves as capable and competent. Children are given activities which build the foundations of literacy without causing frustration or fatigue. This allows your child to learn reading with confidence and joy.
