I CURRENTLY HAVE ONE OPENING BEGINNING ON JANUARY 20TH, 2014!
I offer a preschool curriculum with additional musical instruction in Burnsville, MN.
I come from an extremely musical family and my grandmother was an elementary school librarian who fostered in me a strong love of reading. I hope to instill a love of reading and music in all of the children I care for! :)
I am licensed in Dakota County and the training I have completed thus far exceeds what is required in most areas, including sleep training and child development.
My professional background includes the medical field for nearly 10 years, and I possess a college degree in Communications and Music Education. I'm energetic, creative, caring and fun!
The children in my care do musical instruction at least 3 times per week, along with preschool worksheets at least 3 times each week. Additionally, I incorporate music into our daily activities as frequently as possible.
My hours are listed as 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m., but I can be a little bit flexible in the mornings. I currently have a part-time family who arrives around 7:15. Due to my own family's needs, I am unable to open earlier than 7 a.m. I also work with families on occasional evening pickups later than 5 p.m., based on my family's plans and regularly scheduled activities.
Please note: although I do not have a background check on file with Care.com, I had to pass an extensive background check process prior to becoming a licensed child care provider in Dakota County.
