Monarch Schoolhouse

We are a husband and wife team. My husband has a MA in school administration and MA in History and has been working as a social studies teacher for over 15 years in the public system. I obtained my Bachelor's of Arts in Communications in 2007 and currently hold a Bergen County substitute teacher certification. We believe in nature and play based learning. We have raised our two daughters with those principles and the results thus far have been amazing and fulfilling. With the present challenges the pandemic has brought to our lives we have decided to form an education POD; and open our home to like minded parents in need of child care and tutoring for their children. Our main idea is to offer kids what we felt schools were failing to give our own kids. A holistic approach of education and life in a loving, kind and safe space. Taking advantage of the nature we have available and learn from it. Individualized attention to help kids thrive, with their personalities always in mind. Visit our home for a meet and greet.
