Our Philosophy​
Every school that you encounter will have its own education philosophy. Monarch Montessori's philosophy centers around the principle of individualism. Students perceive themselves as capable of making their own choices, while in constant relationship with other students and guides in the classroom. At Monarch Montessori School, children learn in multi-age settings. Cooperation plays an integral role in the classroom. Students are encouraged to work together, problem-solve and form lasting friendships. Guides aim to understand each child's individual social, emotional and academic needs and craft an educational experience based on what they've observed.

SCHEDULES

At Monarch Montessori School we offer 2 schedules. Full-time enrollment is considered 5 days per week with drop off starting at 8:00AM and pick up at 5:30PM. Half-time/part-time enrollment is considered 5 days per week with drop off at 8:00AM and pick up at 12:00PM. Infants and toddlers under the age of 16 months are ineligible for the half-day option.

Summer Camp begins June 26 and ends August 16. This year, Monarch Montessori School is hosting a nature camp. Registration for Summer Camp has begun. Topics include, protecting our environment, foods and their origins, the earth's natural resources, farming, gardening and harvesting. Families are welcome to enroll children ages 3-12 in our Nature Camp. Camp begins at 9am and ends at 3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Should parents need care after 3:30pm, aftercare services are available for an additional fee. Fieldtrips take place 2 times per week. Campers must bring a lunch. We provide snack. Camp is $350/week. Registration is $100.

​Monarch Montessori School requires a 12-month commitment and issues a contract after application is made and has been approved. We understand that life can change suddenly. Per our policy, should you need to leave prior to your 12-month anniversary, we will require 30 days notice in writing. If for whatever reason you cannot give 30 days notice, you will be required to pay a full-month's tuition regardless of when you leave.

Should you wish to pay for an entire year upfront, you will receive an 8% discount off of tuition and your rate will be locked in for the duration of the contract. Please note that Monarch Montessori School reserves the right to increase tuition rates on a yearly basis for all families who haven't paid upfront. Tuition rate increases are communicated to families no later than December 15 of each calendar year. Tuition is non-refundable.
