I am a mom of a 2 year old named Rainer and I stay home during the day with him. He loves social interaction from having another kiddo around which was why I decided to start doing a day care style baby sitting in my home that is more similar to a nanny share, but even better because it is a mommy share. :) My current charge'a mother is starting to work from home, so I am looking for a new family who may benefit from the "mommy share" setup. Because I only take on ONE CHILD in addition to mine, your child and mine have the best of my attention, it is easier to facilitate proper nap schedules and easier for us to do activities outside of the house (In addition to a playground across the street from my home, we have zoo and science museum memberships).
Depending on the age of your kiddo, I also like to provide meals so both kids are eating the same thing and can learn eating skills from one another as well no food jealousy:)
I encourage baby sign language (please thank you more all done) and use the love and logic method.
My rate includes meals, snacks and milk. Depending on how many Hours a week you need, the price may be negotiable. I have a second car seat, high chair, double stroller and a pack and play so there would be no need for schlepping of equipment on your part.
I am CPR/first aid certified, too.
