Our mission is to deliver easy-to-understand, practical and evidenced-based support so parents can fully immerse themselves in the excitement, joy and humor of their transitions to parenthood. Our materials and curriculum are developed by our medical advisory board and certified childbirth educators using the latest, peer-reviewed maternity resources and reference materials.
We have more than a decade of experience as childbirth educators, labor doulas, and postpartum doulas. We understand how to frame realistic patient expectations about protocols and care, because we have served in a number of hospitals across metropolitan Washington.
Baby Care for the First Month:
Complete all class six weeks before delivery date.
Baby Care & Breastfeeding Basics: Newborn appearance, diaper changing, bathing, dressing and when to call the doctor are just the beginning of this class that prepares you and your partner to care for your baby.
Infant & Child CPR: This two-and-a-half-hour American Heart Association (AHA) course teaches parents and family members life-saving infant and child CPR skills.
Baby, Baby, Baby: Parents of Multiples: This helpful and informative two-hour class will focus on the various childbirth alternatives and preparing to taking care of multiples.
Childbirth Education Classes:
Complete all class six weeks before delivery date.
The Natural Approach to Childbirth for Non medicated Birth: This four-week interactive class, which is limited to eight couples, will focus on Non medicated childbirth preparation, the various stages of labor, using comfort measure and relaxation techniques, creating functional birth plan and Baby Care & Breastfeeding Basics.
Weekend Childbirth Education Series:
This 12-hour class discusses pregnancy changes, the labor and delivery process and the practical coping techniques for medicated and Non medicated childbirth. The class will also discuss Cesarean birth procedures. .

This eight-hour class is designed as an information-only session focused on medicated childbirth. Topics covered include the anatomy and physiology of labor, coping techniques and medications for labor, obstetrical interventions and postpartum recovery.
