Mom E's Day Out~in-home Child Care

Hello! I am a certified teacher with over 15 years of experience in education. I am a mom to a wonderful 2.5 year old boy. Just recently, I've been blessed with the opportunity to stay home with my son. Because I understand what children need to be more successful in the future, I have decided to start an early childhood education program that allows me to share my knowledge on introducing concepts and skills to children at a young age.
Research shows that providing a high quality education for children before they turn five yields significant long-term benefits (National Education Association, 2002-2015).
My home is packed with toys and resources that stimulate the brain and body for developmentally appropriate learning. I emphasize oral language development, support social and emotional growth skills, believe in healthy living, and set great examples for appropriate behaviors. In my home/care, your child's day will include talks, story time, song and dance through nursery rhymes, poems and music, early literacy skill development, and imaginative play. They will create with manipulatives, paint, write, draw, develop number sense and discuss math concepts. They will engage in physical activities with time outdoors, time for sports, various games, and learn to ride bikes/toys. They will do all of this through play and cooperative learning in a small group setting, with a care taker who loves children.
With positive reinforcement, praise, helping your child(ren) feel proud of themselves, your child will be a happy problem solver........a great thinker. And they will have a SUPER FUN and safe day!!!

This Nurturing, Stimulating and Safe environment is now available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Mom E's Day Out is located in City Park, across the street from City Park, and just a short walk away from the Denver Zoo and Museum of Nature and Science.
