Misss Michelle's Schoolhouse

Miss Michelle's Schoolhouse is conveniently located in the Harveston community of Temecula which is just minutes from several other Temecula Valley Unified schools and a hop, skip and a jump from the freeway. I offer a safe, supportive environment where students have the ability to explore the world around them and develop at their own pace. I am child oriented and aim to teach the whole child through a balance of teacher and child-directed activities.

My class sizes have purposefully been kept small, with a 1:4 teacher to student ratio, to gently aid your student's transition from a home to school environment and provide him or her with exposure to the academic standards outlined by the state of California. This includes Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Art, Music and Physical Fitness. We will work on both fine and gross motor skills as well as social skills and character building. Smaller classes ensure that your student gets plenty of one-on-one individualized instruction. Each child learns at his or her own pace and through different experiences than his or her peer. My goal is to provide authentic and engaging learning experiences that provide ample hands on, discovery based activities that appeal to all learning styles. In my classroom, I am here to help guide students in their discovery by asking questions, offering suggestions and by providing positive encouragement. Ultimately, I prepare them cognitively, emotionally, socially and physically so they are ready to start their educational journey.
