I am a former elementary school teacher with a passion for watching children learn and grow. I enjoy teaching a different theme each week and incorporating math, science, reading, music, arts and crafts and much more into our day! We spend lots of time playing with blocks, play dough, dress up clothes and being outside. I have a preschool curriculum that I teach to the children, and we work together in our multi-age group setting. Kids learn to help each other, and a positive respectful environment is fostered.
I am also a part of the the Parent Aware Program, which is a voluntary program designed to ensure that children in childcare settings are involved in an educational setting. Participating programs have:
* Volunteered for extra, in-depth training
* Devoted themselves to strong, caring relationships with each child
* Adopted the latest approaches to keeping children's learning on track
* Committed to daily activities and routines that help children learn

Currently, I do not have any infant openings. My openings are for school age children (5 and up) and 2 preschool (age 2 and up).
