About
I am a childcare provider, with many years of experience.
I offer a safe and healthy environment that allows children of all ages to have fun. Children learn best through example. In my home we practice respect, manners and proper language skills. Children under 2 years of age are taught basic sign language to advance their communication skills before they learn to speak. I believe routines are very important for children to learn and grow; therefore, each day we follow a routine which makes time for meals, naps, arts & crafts, outdoor activities, and more!
Our home has a fenced backyard with lots of toys for outdoor play.
We are a smoke-free home and pet-friendly. I have over 15 years of extensive child care experience; including my 8 year old daughter and foster care children. I am actively certified by the American Heart Association in CPR and First Aid.
I am available for childcare Monday - Friday between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. I have very reasonable rates, based on the age of the child. I am currently available to care for full-time & part-time children, as well as drop-ins, and temporary arrangements.
I am located in the Seven Hills neighborhood, near Hamden/Tower.
