I am a stay at home mom of 1 starting up an in home daycare. I love taking care of and educating children. I have vast experience with all ages and different personalities of children. I believe in interactive childcare. Not only will the children be interacted with during play time, but they will be worked with on lessons according to their age and level. I can work on art, music, reading, math and science skills. For younger children I can work with them on colors, letters, numbers, teaching them to write their names, and more. My home has a large area to play indoors and a great backyard with a play set for outdoor fun. I live walking distance from the park, and downtown Aurora. Over the summer I will take the kids on field trips to children's museums, Phillips Park Zoo, and other fun and educational places that kids enjoy. I am all about promoting healthy diets in all children's lives. For meals I serve all home made, natural, vegetarian food, made with organic fruits and vegetables (a lot from my own garden). I offer flexible hours, affordable rates, and sibling discounts. Our daily activities include: reading aloud, arts and crafts, music lessons and singalong time, individual and group reading, math, and science tutoring, free/play time, and game/activity time. They will be provided with meals, snacks, and will be given naps according to their need for a nap (never will I force a child to lay down awake when they are not tired)! I am able to do potty training, and will change diapers promptly when they are soiled! If you're looking for an affordable, safe, place for your children to go when they are at work, look no further!
