I believe that quality early care and education is a partnership between parents/guardians and provider. At Miss Heather s Child Care, it is my mission to provide your child with age and developmentally appropriate activities and materials in a safe, loving environment where they are free to explore and learn.

I believe a play-based program cultivates a child s mind and helps to engage their love of learning. Children will have the opportunity to explore and grow, create and discover, build relationships with other children, and become confident learners.

While I understand that I am just a home babysitter, I strive to provide your child with a safe and caring atmosphere while they are away from home.

I am a mother of 3 children - two boys (10 & 12) and one girl (6) who provides childcare in our Raritan Borough home. We have two well-behaved dogs that love children (ages 1 year and 6 years). The dogs will have limited interaction with the children. We plenty of toys & games, a wide assortment of healthy food and a local park within walking distance. We will follow a daily schedule that includes crafts, free play, reading, sensory/fine motor skills, learning worksheets and music. I cook almost exclusively from scratch, and will encourage the children to help with preparing food for meals and snacks (such as mixing and pouring). I have a valid driver's license and a reliable car that can seat up to four children with carseats/booster seats. Additionally, I am currently attending college online to obtain a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.

I offer child care in my home for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. We are conveniently located to Route 206, Route 202, Route 28, Route 22 and the Somerville Circle. We are minutes from Route 287.

I am also available for before school care, after school care, school vacation, summer care and overnight care. The school buses for JFK and Eisenhower stop just down the block from my home.

My availability:
Weekdays: 7:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Weeknight, weekend and overnight care is available.

Meals will be provided to your child(ren) if they are with me during mealtime. Snacks and drinks are always available. Homework help is provided.
