Miss Cycy's Daycare

CyCy's Daycare was started with the goal of offering working parents a reasonably priced quality childcare option with an emphasis on Kindergarten readiness. Licensed by the State of California, our home daycare provides a clean, nurturing environment with a proven educational component.

At Miss CyCy's we build curriculum around play...

Play is not just a way for children to have fun or relax -- it's an essential way for them to learn. By doing activities they choose and enjoy, children naturally develop math skills (shapes, quantity, size comparisons), language skills (talking with peers and teachers), large- and small-muscle skills (drawing, manipulating toys, climbing, throwing), imagination (pretend play), social skills, confidence, problem-solving, and the ability to plan and carry out activities ("executive function"). Having fun is important, too -- it helps children build a positive approach to learning and to life.

Our daycare also caters to infants & toddlers; we have a baby nursery and an infant toy area to stimulate their growing senses and minds.
Homemade baby food is available upon request. Toddlers are offered fun activities to challenge their growing minds and enhance their motor skills. Potty training is also available once the toddler is ready.

At Miss CyCy's we create an interesting, safe environment...
Infants and toddlers need small groups so they are not overwhelmed by noise and stimulation. Small groups provide the kind of flexible, intimate environment that promotes individualized learning. Manageable-sized spaces give children a sense of security and we continue to thrive as a small daycare (Max of 8 children) with only two openings therefore we only allow Full-Time enrollment.
