Hi there!
I m a 27 year old mom in Hilliard, Ohio, and just started working towards my Masters in Early Childhood Education. I graduated from Grand Valley State University (Grand Rapids, MI) back in 2011. I have over 10+ years of childcare experience working as a nanny and caregiver to numerous families over the years. I have experience providing care for newborns, all the way up to pre-teens! I have CPR and first aid training, and completed a childcare course provided by the American Red Cross.

I m currently starting up a small in-home daycare, so ideally I m looking for families who don t mind care being provided from my home. Because I have a daughter myself, my home is insanely child-proofed. The entire bottom level of my home is sectioned off as a playroom, and there s even a bathroom on that level in case your child is working on potty training! My home is also in a quiet cul-de-sac, with a giant fenced-in backyard for play.

My philosophy is childcare should be something your child looks forward to everyday. I take great lengths to foster an environment that is inviting, warm, and where your child feels comfortable. I m a firm believer in structuring the day around play and educational activities. I have tons of toys and plenty of indoor and outdoor space for play. I m not the type to sit the kids in front of the television for hours on end. Instead, we ll spend our days doing arts and crafts, story time, playing outside, visiting parks, and going on field trips to the library, zoo, COSI, etc. For babies, I ll help your child with tummy time and other baby friendly activities.

I provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks (unless you would rather pack your child s food, which is totally okay!). For a small additional fee, I can also provide formula, diapers, wipes, and anything else your child might need during the day.

To help alleviate the hassle of your mornings and evenings, I can also pick your child up at the beginning of the day, and drop them off when you re home from work. Basically, I try to make things as convenient for you and your child as possible!

My home is smoke-free, alcohol-free, and pet friendly, with 1 dog (Princess Leia, a miniature schnauzer a.k.a., the friendliest dog ever!).
