I have four children of my own (ages 11, 9, 5 and 2 years old) and have been caring for children for over 13 years. I have my teaching license and was working as the director of education at a learning center up until December 2009. I love working with and caring for children; so I decided to begin a day care service in my home February 2010. I have experience with watching multiple children (any age).
I provide a daily meal rotation, as well as a fun, yet age-appropriate daily schedule that works really well for all of us. Our daily schedule includes circle time, group activities, free play time, puzzle time, story time, coloring supplies, nap time, snack times and outdoor/gross motor play. I also try to take the kids to the park or zoo at least once a week in summer; and have daily outside time (weather permitting) during the school year.
