Mimi's Adventure

I am a loving yet structured mother of five who recently became a grandmother:) I am down to having one child left at home, 11 years old:( I have over fifteen years experience with in-home childcare. Over the years I have learned the importance of having open communication with the parents regarding the day to day of their child/children. I do not consider myself to be a "babysitter". A babysitter is just someone who provides a location for your child/children, mainly for the money. I have not only heard the horror stories....but have encountered them when my children were little. That is how I came to the realization that I want to give parents what I was longing for when I was in the workforce....a sense of peace, which is PRICELESS! I commit myself to each and everyone of the children that come into my home as if they were one of my own. Every child will have different needs and wants and I will take the time to find out what that may be, along with the wishes of the parents, and do my best to provide an environment where they will feel/be safe, loved and have the ability to grow on a day to day basis!
