My name is Adriana. I graduated with my Bachelors & Master of Education in Elementary Education and I have my Reading endorsement as well as my ESOL for CCPS. I have worked in the public/private and homeschool co-op sector.
I currently home school my son who will be four at the end of this year. My son is reading proficiently and academically at a 1st grade level right now which is what brought me to the idea of creating a small homeschool group, especially in these times of uncertainty.
I am actually in the process of creating a mindful space and curriculum in my home beginning this Fall. I will be offering a nannying program with a homeschooling component. I will be offering extras as options for families (I.e art classes , gardening , science labs)
As a former teacher I really feel passionate about providing an environment conducive to creative& exploratory learning. While I don't close myself off to one method of teaching, I do implement a lot of Montessori /Reggio Amelia based and biblical based learning.
