80% of the brain is developed by the age of three. That being said it is crucial to surround all children with love and positivity. Children should be able to have a creative space to explore what interests them, and have support and approval from the adults around them. I am a firm believer in letting the child choose their path, if they are more interested in a certain subject I want to be able to provide the materials for them to explore whatever that may be. I strive to promote self-esteem, creativity, independence and freedom in children. Having working in a variety of childcare settings I have been able to decide what I think benefits the child and what does not. I have worked in an in home child care, a nanny environment and a preschool center. Now that I am a mother myself, I provide the care my child, and every child needs.
