Mickey's Helping Hands Daycare is located in a country setting far from the road with 2 large play areas and a complete indoor facility as well. Meals are provided twice daily with snacks in between. After a full morning of indoor and outdoor activities, I encourage a 1 hour quiet time. Some children read, others sleep based on their individual needs.
Children learn through hands on activities. We have a sensory table for young children with sand, water, rice, etc. Motor skills from coloring to obstacle courses. Young children learn to count, identify colors and shapes. We teach cooking and the best kinds of mess-making.
Mickey's Helping Hands provides both full time and part time (before and after school) care. We service families between the hours of 6:00am until 5:30pm Monday through Friday. In case of emergency, overnight and weekend care options are available.
Daily After School Care: Mickey's Helping Hands is on the Bus Route for Watkins Glen Central School District. We provide After-school Care until 5:30PM. We house a quiet environment to do homework if needed and provide a snack for the children.
