Michele M. Child Care

I am a 39-year-old stay-at-home mama to 3 beautiful children (teenager, toddler and baby). I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Adolescent Development in addition to a teaching license in Early Childhood Education (birth-3rd grade). I have 7 years of experience as a preschool teacher and 5 years' teaching kindergarten with Jeffco Public Schools.

I offer full-day childcare for a maximum of two TODDLER (2 years-4 years old) in my home. I like to work with families that are LOVING, NURTURING, STRAIGHT FORWARD, COMMUNICATIVE, and SUPPORTIVE. I believe that an easy-going partnership is key to ensuring that all your child's needs are met.

Your child will get ONE-On-ONE care with me because I do not accept more than two children at a time. I want to ensure that my program is small, intimate, so that your child's direct needs are looked after. While in my care, you can expect your child to frequent their days with trips to the park, story time at the library, indoor playgrounds, Jump Street, Golden Recreation Center, in addition to playing outside in our large child-friendly backyard, nature walks around the neighborhood, LOTS of art projects, sensory play (water/sand), blocks/trains, and an abundance of music and dance activities. Through these play-based experiences, I am able to intentionally embed literacy, science, math and language development skills so that your child is immersed in learning all throughout their day.

I provide healthy organic lunches and snacks that are well rounded. There is no need for the parents of the children in my care, to have to fuss with making their child's lunches or snacks, as you can rest assured, that they will be fed extremely well while in my care. When all kiddos are eating the same foods, it eliminates the "I want that!" food wars.

My home is extremely loving, child-proof, safe, and appropriately set up for toddlers to learn, play and be properly cared for. My home is welcoming and waiting for the right TODDLER to come and add more love, laughter and fun to it.
