Michele Dunn Daycare

I am a licensed daycare provider (former special education teacher) with seventeen years experience. I provide care for children 6 wks-12 yrs. I believe in providing a loving family environment. I also like to keep enrollment small, so that I may provide more individualized attention. Our daily activities include reading, music, arts/crafts, and outdoor play to name a few. Preschool concepts such as ABC's, counting, etc. are introduced informally through play (blocks, puzzles). I find that routines are very comforting and important to children, and help them develop self confidence. Meals, snacks and rest time are a regular part of our daily routine. I am First Aid/CPR certified and participate in professional development trainings throughout the year. I also receive training from a state food program on a quarterly basis, in the area of nutrition and how it is important to the children in my care.
