About
Mi Casita Azul's Head Teacher, Cynthia Olmedo, is an experienced preschool teacher with over 10 years teaching experience. The Spanish Immersion program is designed to prepare your child for Spanish Immersion K-5 elementary school. We've built a beautiful three story home in Noe Valley for the purposes of providing a quality early childhood education in Spanish.
We are currently accepting children, ages 1.5 to 5 years old. We offer full-time school from 8:45 am to 3:30 pm and after school care from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
We use a play-based and project-based approach to education. We are firm believers in the emergent philosophy that builds on the interests and excitement of the students. We have outdoor activities like gardening in our backyard and field trips to the park 2 blocks away.
Additionally, we provide healthy nutritious meals. We value organic foods for the development of children. We cook two organic meals a day.
