Meyer's Daycare

I opened Meyer's Daycare in Spring Grove, IL, because I adore children and love to watch them grow, learn and have fun. It is a great privilege to have the opportunity to open a business doing what I love.
I believe that education and fun should go hand-in-hand to help children develop a positive association with learning at an early stage. I address the unique needs of children through a combination of physical and mental activities. We have two "play rooms". One is for the little ones with blocks, age appropriate toys, chalkboard and a big train table. The other room is for older children to escape from the babies and do homework or (if parents allow) video games or TV.
Your child's schedule includes playing outside, we have a great play-set on an acre of land, arts and crafts, all different kinds of toys and blocks, and being taught about the importance of respect and responsibility. We rarely watch TV, other than a kids learning musical DVD. We will also have fun listening to music, dancing and learning nursery rhymes. Every full-time child will be provided with an age-appropriate workbook or coloring book to help with learning. For after school daycare, your child will be assisted with doing his or her homework.
