My current certifications: New York State Permanent Certification in Special Education (7-12) September 2009 New York State Permanent Certification in Secondary English (7-12), August 2006 New York State Permanent Certification in Childhood Education (1-6), May 2005. I have been teaching for 9 years and thoroughly enjoyed being a teacher. However, after attempting to find daycare for my children I've noticed that there is a lack of high quality programs available and the monthly tuition can be outrageous. My son, Ethan, is six and enjoys going to elementary school and tae kwon do. My daughter is 2 years old and enjoys singing and dancing. My daughter was with a phenomenal caregiver while I was at work last year and every time I went to pick her up, she was smiling- she loved going! I'm excited to bring this enjoyment to other children and a sense of security for parents; as your child will be in a loving environment in which learning is taking place. I know mornings are a whirlwind of chaos when we go to work, therefore, to assist I will be providing lunches and snacks.
