In-Home Daycare

We are an in-home daycare located in Cleveland Heights. My degree is in elementary and special education and I have been working with children for the past 10 years in a variety of settings. Prior to starting the daycare, I worked as a behavior therapist for children with autism for 3 years. I decided to start my own daycare because of the difficulty we experienced while finding someone to care for my own children. Our philosophy is that children learn best through play and peer interactions. There are a variety of sensory and educational toys and games for all age groups in our play room. We also have an outdoor play area with a ton of toys and other fun items.
Here is a sample of the daily schedule:
7:30-8:30 Arrival and free play
8:30-10:30 Story time and structured activities
10:30-11:00 Lunch prep
11:00-12:00 Lunch and clean up
12:00-1:00 Crafts or sensory activities
1:00-3:00 Nap or quiet time
3:00-3:45 Snack
3:45-4:30 Structured play
4:30-5:30 Free play and departure
Currently we have children ranging from ages 3 months to 4 years. The openings we have at this time are for full or part time toddlers.
