Melissa's At Home Care

Hi! I am the mother of a 13-year-old boy and 10-year-old girl. I have stayed home with my children since my son was born.
Over the winter, I took a part-time position as an in-home child care assistant. I have always loved working with younger children and really enjoyed my time at this business. After working at an in-home child care business I decided that I would like to care for one or two children at my home. My goal is to provide a safe, caring and nurturing place for your child. I want to be able to give a child the same care that I would want for my own. I believe that children thrive from love, structure and routine and will work with parents to keep their child on the schedule that works for them.
As a mother and child care assistant, I enjoyed reading to the children and doing crafts and learning activities. As for babies, I will make sure that all of their needs are met, that they are mentally stimulated and have plenty of "play time".
I would be happy to discuss other services with you as in errand running and taking your child to any classes that you would like them to take. I am open minded and would like to help make your life less stressful.
