I believe that each child should learn and grow at his/her own pace. I believe in hands on activities and exploration in a safe and nurturing environment. I believe that the early childhood years are best years to teach not only the fundamentals of education, but also the values of life.

My goal is that the children will enjoy every day and look forward to playing with friends and learning new things. I want you and your child to feel that this is a warm, nurturing, safe and fun place to go!

I am trained in the NYS Common Core Standards, and I create my curriculum around the NYS Standards, to prepare your child for a successful transition into Kindergarten and beyond.

As a parent, I know that choosing child care for your child is a hard decision. You may ask, "what makes you different than everyone else?"

With over 10 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I pride myself in my standard of caring for and educating precious young children. My college education has prepared me with the knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Young children have the capacity to retain a tremendous amount of information, and I take full advantage of the opportunity to teach them as much as I can.

On a monthly basis, I will have different themes that I am teaching about. These themes will incorporate stories, art projects, and theme related learning centers. Each month, I will also teach a color, shape, letters, numbers, opposites, and socially developmental values.

In addition to the monthly themes, my educational curriculum includes Music & Movement activities, Yoga for Kids, Basic ASL & Spanish, Technology, and Fine & Gross Motor Activities- both indoors and outdoors. I also provide homework support for school age children.

I will provide a healthy lunch & snacks for your child.

I will occassionaly plan for "Field Trip Friday". On these days, I will have extra staff to accompany our group to fun places! Living in the Seabreeze area, there is so much opportunity for fun and exploration. All within walking distance to my house, your child can enjoy: the beach at Lake Ontario, Abbots Frozen Custard, Durand Eastman Park, Mini Golf at Whispering Pines, Sea Breeze Amusement Park, and Sea Breeze Fire District Tours. The Seneca Park Zoo is also within a 15 minute drive!
