Families First Center in West Philadelphia provides high quality education and care for infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-kindergarten children. As a Keystone STAR 4 (out of a possible 4) center, we are dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of learning, implementing current best practices and consistent, nurturing care to our children.
The center offers bright, spacious classrooms and extensive outdoor play areas. The excellent facilities provide the ideal environment to learn through play. Our teachers use Creative Curriculum and the PA Early Learning Standards as a framework for measuring developmental milestones, nurturing the whole child and taking into consideration each child s individual needs and strengths.
Families First has convenient hours from 7am to 6pm and offers all children a hot lunch daily. It is conveniently located at 3939 Warren St., just off 40th and Lancaster Ave., a few miles from the University City area schools and hospitals. Families First partners with Early Head Start, accepts subsidy through CCIS, and also partners with Philadelphia School District to offer Pre-K Counts, a free pre-kindergarten program for eligible applicants.
