Hello! I recently relocated to Delaware and I'm very excited to join this great community! I previously had an in-home daycare in Worthington and have re-established it here. I now have one more opening. I like to keep my group small (3 or 4 children only) to provide the maximum quality of care. This is especially important for those difficult days when little ones don't feel well or are teething, etc. I like to have the availability to provide them with that extra 1:1 nurturing. I began providing in-home childcare 4 years ago. I was a nanny for over 6 years before joining the workforce in the field of human services for 7 years which I resigned from in 2014. Prior to that and while attending college, I also worked as an assistant preschool teacher. My home is set up as more of a daycare/preschool atmosphere with structured weekly lesson plans, a fenced in playground, and many age appropriate activities. I provide meals/snacks/milk and have a monthly menu, lesson plan, and parent newsletter. I also have a parent handbook and send home a form each day outlining what your child ate and did during their day. I will provide each family with a W-10 form at the end of each year so you can claim your childcare expenses on your taxes more easily. I have two active and sweet daughters, the oldest is 6.5 y/o and in kindergarten. The youngest is 4 y/o. I keep my profile fairly private but am an open book to interested families and am willing to answer any questions via private message. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!
