Megan's In-home Child Care

I have a Master's degree in Education in Family Therapy from Duquesne University, and I specialized in working with children for the last five years. I worked with children with Autism, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Attention Deficit Disorder for all five of those years.

I taught social skills in a group setting to children with developmental delays as well as in my home. I also helped parents teach children to use positive manners consistently. I am currently helping a four-year old learn how to play games with good sportsmanship, turn-taking, and helping foster patience. I am also helping this child learn to write numbers and letters. I am very confident in my ability to help your child with all of these skills, and more!

The last three years have blessed me to be able to work in my home with neighborhood children with a one year-old to, now, four year-old and other elementary age children. I am now looking for an infant or young child to provide a nurturing environment in my clean, smoke-free, pet-free ranch home. I am looking for a family to grow with as the child flourishes in your home and mine. I am looking to care for a maximum of 2 children to start in August.

New furniture and toys will be purchased; I want to have the most current items that are available. The collaborative nature of my work will be shown when we work together to utilize my knowledge and experience caring for children and the knowledge and love you have for your child.
