I have been providing childcare in my home for over a year. I have much experience with infants and young children. I am the godmother to two children, both of whom I have babysat and spent extensive time with since they were born. The oldest is now 5 years old and was born with angioplasty left heart syndrome. He has had 3 open heart surgeries and is developmentally delayed. His sister is 3 years old and very active. They are the joys of my life! During my senior year of high school, I volunteered in the Primary Multiple Handicapped class at Zane Trace. During the 2010-11 school year, I was employed as a substitute Educational Aide through the Ross-Pike County Educational Service District. I served as an Educational Aide in the Primary Multi-Handicapped class and in the Preschool at Zane Trace. I also served as an Attendant for handicapped students in the Primary and High Schools at Unioto. I also am a Sunday School teacher and VBS teacher for the preschool class at my church. I currently take care of an almost-5-year-old boy, his 14 month old brother, and a little boy who is 21 months. We are ready to add another child or two to our circle of friends. I hope this Profile adequately expresses my love of children and my ability to not only take wonderful care of your child but to love them. I also have a mom and dad who love children, so I will have a strong support system. Your child will be personally cared for and loved by a family when you can't be with him/her.
