Hello potential family!
I offer a very loving and unique home daycare! Your child(ren) will feel loved, well cared for, and in a comfortable setting, my home! I do not have a sterile facility feel, my home is a home. It is a place to live, love, laugh, and learn.
A little about myself,
I am a very loving wife and momma of 2 children. My son is 2.5 years and my next child is arriving in November! My husband and I have been together since 2010 and married since 2011. Our condo is located in the Mayfair of Montgomery, where we have 3 floors of living space. Our walkout basement is where we have the play area set up, as seen in the pictures.
I have 4 years experience with children from twins, infants, and young children, some of which have been in my home. Others, on an as-needed basis.
I have great references, know CPR/basic first aid with access to review materials online, and have background check through my individual profile here on Care.com.
We are an attachment parenting/gentle discipline family, and do our best to have organic foods, at least for my children if not for my husband and I. We plan to start a hydroponic garden in my living room windows to grow fresh kale and spinach, to start out!
Some of what I offer:
Flexibility! -- Life happens, and it is all different for everyone. Whether you are having me as a backup or full time care, I want to work with your schedule
Meals -- again, I am big on flexibility. I particularly would like to serve all of the children similar organic meals, but if your child needs a specific diet, we can accommodate.
Sensory play used age appropriately. I constantly look up new crafts and ideas that children will love.
I do not believe in scheduling children; however, a routine can be very beneficial and helpful to breaking up the day to learn.
As much outdoor play as we can get in before it starts getting too cold!
Very clean/organized smoke free, pet free home in the heart of Montgomery.
Lots of toys, books, puzzles, and more to come as I individualize our playroom for your child(ren).
Seeing as I just moved into this condo, we have openings for 4 children in the next week. The playroom looks great, just working on the rest of the house!!
