Mathenum Tutoring

Mathenum is an advanced tutoring service for mathematics and science aimed at helping individuals become independent learners through cultivating their confidence and curiosity. We specialize in developing cognitive skills and support skills as the foundation for helping any set of needs including: course work, course advancement, SAT/ACT Preparation, homework help, homeschooling, and adaptive strategies for those with learning differences. We provide 1-on-1, at-home tutoring with flexible scheduling in the north Houston area including: north Houston, Cypress, Tomball, Spring, The Woodlands, Magnolia, Conroe, Montgomery, and Kingwood.

Rather than use a standard assessment and/or computer program to establish the needs of our students, we bring together individuals with highly trained and experienced educators capable of listening, identifying, studying, and preparing a fully individualized tutoring plan that is both detailed and adjustable. Once meeting, our tutors develop and strengthen foundational learning skills including a systematic problem-solving approach, cognitive skills, and learning support skills to ultimately guide students to think, to challenge, to persevere, to create, and to explore.
