Marycare Adult Day Care And Life Changing Independent Living Home

The goal of Mary Care Adult Day Home program is to encourage independence and social interaction. The program will provide a pleasant, comfortable, safe, homelike atmosphere with proper supervision of participants.
The staff is committed to providing an engaging social interaction with all participants. Family and community involvement is considered essential in planning of care and activities for each participant.
The program believes in including family input at all levels of decision-making. The goals set for each participant are aimed at obtaining the highest level of independence and wellness. The 1:6 staff-to-client ratio reinforces the effectiveness of an individualized program.

Eligibility Criteria for Adult Day Care
* 18 years or older
* Able to participate in Program activities
* Able to communicate needs and wants to staff
* Able to walk alone or use an assistive device (walker, cane, wheelchair)
* Not prone to inappropriate behaviors or violent outbursts
* Able to socialize in a cooperative, non-harmful manner(no disruptive, violent or abusive behavior)
* Free of substance abuse
* Manageable incontinence (may wear diaper or pad)
* Strength/stamina to attend a day program for at least 4 hours
* Recent medical examination (dated within 6 months prior admission) certifying participant is free of contagious disease (on file prior to first day of program participation).
Appropriate clients are those who require some level of supervision when left alone at home. Or persons who would like outside social interactions with persons of similar ages. Client admission will be viewed as 30-day trial for both parties after this time the decision will be made about client's continued attendance.

Mary Care Adult Day Care program provides a delicious Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Snack Daily.

Hours of Operation are: 6:30 am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.
