Welcome to Mary's House! I focus on developing nurturing one on one relationships with those in my care. I have a degree in Elementary Education, and mainly serve teachers/school district employees and their families during the school year.
I provide an environment that encourages social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth: large playroom, fenced backyard with play structures, preschool activities, walks to park, healthy meals regulated by the USDA, and lots of love!
I believe in a loosely structured program that allows for some day to day flexibility. We have music, story time, outdoor play, quiet/nap time, and free play each day. During free play we love to play dress-up, bounce on large exercise balls, build with giant waffle blocks, do puzzles, play games, play in the playhouse, and learn how to get along well with our friends! We have preschool activities several times a week, including art, play dough, painting or cooking.
I work on a school year contract: I do not charge for summer break, winter break or spring break. I give each full time (9 month) client five sick/personal days which are no charge days. I receive 3 paid sick/personal days each school year. I am closed and charge for regular school holidays. I'd love to talk to you about your child care needs!
