Mandi's Pet Care LLC officially started on July 27, 2012, but I have many years of experience in pet care. In high school I worked for Woodhaven Animal Health, a vet clinic in Plover, WI. I was trained to assist in many office tasks as well as in caring for animals. I cleaned kennels, gave dogs and cats baths, helped the vet technicians hold animals for their shots and blood draws, helped change bandages, and was even taught how to administer Saline Solution (fluids). I am also experienced in giving Diabetic shots. In 2006 a client at the vet clinic was inquiring about boarding options, because we didn't have a boarding facility at the clinic, I offered to take care of her pets on the side. Over the years news of my pet sitting services spread, through word of mouth and referrals. When I went to college fall of 2008 I decided to continue pet sitting on the side to help me pay tuition. During my four years I studied business and my small business continued to attract new clients on a regular basis. According the records I began keeping in 2006, I have had over 50 clients that spanned from Plover and Stevens Point to Rosholt, Bancroft and Amherst, WI. I have also had experience in caring for a wide variety of animals. Upon graduating in May 2012 I decided to put my business degree to good use and officially register my small pet care business.
