Mama Jean Pet Services

Mama Jean Pet Services is a Pit Bull friendly, premium pet service company. I have a wealth of experience in pet sitting, dog training, and animal behavior. My services will soon be expanded to include boarding and kenneling.

Over the years I have cared for a variety of pets: fish, rodents, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and of course dogs and cats. Because of this natural affinity for animals, as a young adult I was often asked to help take care of friends' and family's pets while they were away. In the beginning I thought this was just an opportunity to help out those close to me who did not want to kennel their pets. I thought it was just about feeding, watering, and scooping. I quickly realized that this was a very unique opportunity to help people! Being the primary care giver for someone's pet while they are away gives you a chance to care for that pet in a very personalized manner, easing the anxiety that an owner might feel about leaving them behind.

Over time, these friends and family began referring new clients my way and urging me to make this my career. As my client list has grown, I have obliged! I absolutely love helping people take care of their animals. I take the responsibility of caring for their pets and home very seriously. The evolution of my understanding of the pet services profession has elevated my skills and standard of care to a point that can only be learned through hands on experience and dedication. Part of this growth has been adding the availability of additional services that my clients find valuable, such as nail trims, baths, behavior evaluation, and training.

I set my business apart by keeping an exclusive client list and performing all services personally so you never have to worry about someone you do not know coming into your home. Mama Jean LLC is licensed, bonded, and insured. I will be certified in Pet CPR & First Aid through The Red Cross this fall of 2013. Your pets health, happiness, and safety are of the utmost importance to me.
