Makiko's Daycare Center

Makiko s Daycare Center provides loving and nurturing daycare services based on the curriculum used in the Japanese pre-school (hoikuen) system. Our daycare providesa wholesome breakfast, a delicious homemade lunch and two servings of snacks. Our daycare assists each individual child to develop interpersonal and cognitive skills. Our daycare also assists children to learn basic academic skills such the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes and sizes and engages them in musical and dancing activities (oyugi). In addition, we also provide children with a truly unique opportunity to learn a little about Japanese culture, crafts, language, games and food! And finally, our daycare provides children with a safe environment for regular outdoor activities.
