Makbule

Hello! I'm Makbule, but a lot of people call me Mak. I am a licensed in home day care provider for Virginia, and my home has been inspected by the county to ensure compliance with safety standards. I have one son, and he's 8 months old. He's a happy baby and loves playing with other children. I would love to open my home to another child, hopefully similar in age. I only want to have one other child besides my own, even though my license permits me to have up to five. I think by keeping the environment small with just me, my son, and one other child, I can give them both the most attention and ensure all their needs are met.

Before my son, I was instrumental in taking care of my nephew from a very young age, three months. He's now 3 years old, and I continue to watch and care for him from time to time. I've also taken care of a friend's son who was 5 years old, two brothers that were five and eight, and a family friend's son who is nine. I understand the developmental stages throughout the years, and I am always sure to encourage they are introduced to new and fun things. I also understand every child's needs are very different, and they can have such different personalities, so I cater to the individual child when taking care of them.

Day to day, my son and I do many activities that encourage physical and mental development. They include playing with toys, balls, walkers and musical instruments. We also go on walks. We have more than enough entertainment for your child to have a fun time. I also cook a lot and give my son homemade foods, and I'm happy to share that food with your child as well. Or I can serve them something specific that you pack if you prefer.

My son takes medication daily, so I am very familiar with administering medicine, monitoring for fevers, and generally making sure your baby is healthy. I keep a very clean home, and it's new so the carpets are brand new and clean as well. We don't have any pets, and we are non-smokers.

I have a pretty flexible schedule, so if your work schedule is not the usual 9-5, please don't hesitate in reaching out to discuss it.
