Mahogany Foster Care Llc

This is a VA Medical Foster Home. This program provides an alternative to a nursing home; it allows veterans to remain in the community and be cared for by trained caregivers in a family-like setting. With a limit of three (3) residents, veterans are able to get the care that they deserve. The veteran lives in the caregiver's home that is inspected and approved by the VA. A caregiver can prepare meals, help with activities of daily living (such as feeding, bathing, grooming and dressing), provide transportation and dispense medications. MFHs team up with Home-Based Primary Care. HBPC is a VA team that includes a PCP, nurse, social worker, RT, dietician and other team members.
Our facility is owned and operated by a Registered Nurse and is located in a quaint and quiet neighborhood in Longwood, FL.

We are looking for total care residents; this includes but not limited to residents that are quadriplegic, gets enteral feedings, non-verbal etc.
