Magic Carpet Home Daycare

I offer quality home daycare to children ages 0-5 years in my lovely home in North Carlsbad. For infants, I provide abundant rocking, "chatting", snuggles and tummy time. Toddlers will play, dance, sing, make believe, read stories and begin basic literary foundational concepts. When your child shows signs of readiness I teach Mother GooseTime, a structured preschool curriculum designed specifically for home daycares. I supplement preschool with games, make-believe, crafts, dance/movement and lots of music.
I have a musical theater and musical composition background, and I have been very active in the community for 15 years teaching music and drama to children/youth. I integrate music in all that we do here at Magic Carpet Daycare.
I am a nurturer at heart and I have a huge capacity to love each child. I take a firm but gentle approach to discipline. As a mother of 6, I have learned that consistency is the key, and children in my care are well-behaved and secure. My experience in raising children has also taught me how quickly childhood comes and goes: I believe in childishness and play. We play hard here! We make lots of noise and lots of messes.
