Hi! My name is Megan and I'm the owner/operator of M Squared Childcare which is located in the Summerside/Eastgate area. Before I get started with the business let me tell you a little bit about myself.
First, and most importantly, I have a passion for children. I love watching them grow and learn. I also really enjoy helping them discover new things on a daily basis.
Second, I am CPR/First Aid Certified, have a background in Early Childhood Education as well as Nursing, and I'm a member of two nanny associations.
I have been babysitting since I was 10 years old. I have worked in childcare as a profession for most of the last 10 years. Prior to opening my home center I was a private nanny to four children for three years. I have experience with Preemies, Newborns, Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, School-agers and Multiples.
And now a little bit about M Squared. I opened M Squared so that I would be able to provide quality care on a wider scale with a set schedule. That being said, I am open from 7:00am to 5:30pm - earlier or later can be negotiated. I can provide Full-Time, Part-Time and Before/After School care.
You will receive a daily "sheet" via a mobile app called BrightWheel - meals, diapers/potty, snacks, naps, etc. I try to make one take home craft per week. We do outings whenever possible - Parks, Zoo, Libraries, Splash Parks, Movies and anything else that sounds fun! We're outside daily (weather permitting of course).
