M & M Tutoring Service

Welcome to M & M Tutoring Service! We are a locally based tutoring company founded by educators, whose mission is to support you, your children, and your family, as you progress through various academic courses. We believe in the old proverb that states "...it takes a village to raise a child...", so we endeavor to not just tutor our clients, but to also become a part of your village-cheering you and/or your children on to success!

Subjects available include:
Math, English, Science, Spanish, & Test Prep

We are pleased to offer...
~A minimum of one hour per session
~Face-to-face services in Alamance, Orange, Durham, and Wake counties
~Various locations of sessions (determined on an individual basis)
~Virtual tutoring sessions
~Referral, group, and family rates
~Common Core/Integrated Math services

Our Founders:

Jametra Hinton is a veteran math teacher of twelve years. She received her BS in Mathematics degree from the Norfolk State University (GO SPARTANS!!), in Norfolk, VA, her MBA from the Indiana Institute of Technology, and is a National Board Certified Teacher. She began her educational career in the Norfolk Public Schools system on the middle school level, continued teaching in Indiana, and for the past six years, she has tirelessly served in the Durham Public Schools system, formerly at Hillside High School (for five years), and currently at the Durham Performance Learning Center. Jametra is a loving wife, proud mother of two, and a faithful member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.

Mariama Moody is also a veteran math teacher of twelve years. She received her BS in Mathematics from the one and only Hampton University (GO PIRATES!!), in Hampton, VA, her MS Ed. from Walden University, and is also a National Board Certified Teacher. Coincidentally, Mariama also began her educational career in the Norfolk Public Schools system, and has faithfully served in the Durham Public Schools system, also formerly at Hillside High School (for six years), and currently at the Durham Performance Learning Center. Mariama is a mentor, loving friend and daughter, and is a dedicated member of World Overcomers Christian Church.
