Lyons of Judah Childcare & Learning Den... where we take pride in "Educating the "Pride". We are a child-centered, authentic-learning environment in the Kempsville area of Virginia Beach for infants through 12 years. We are a state licensed facility teaching infants thru middle school children using Pinnacle's Faith based curriculum. Pinnacle's Early Childhood Curriculum is based on the research of the early childhood development gurus Piaget, Gardner, and Erickson. Pinnacle's curriculum is developmentally appropriate and the application of these lessons are observed and facilitated by Ms. Veronica. Ms. Veronica retired from teaching in 2018 after serving 25 years in Norfolk and Virginia Beach City Public Schools. She has a Master's in Educational Leadership and over 65 graduate credits in reading, writing, early childhood development, etc.. Ms. Veronica is endorsed to teach gifted education in Virginia schools and was a classroom teacher for 12 years - teaching grades 2 thru 5. Her remaining teacher tenure was served in the capacity of gifted resource teacher in an area elementary school.
At LoJCLD we look forward to providing your child with growth and character- building activities that support their cognitive, social/emotional. linguistic, problem-solving, and independence. Children attending LoJCLD facility will be taught Bible based lessons. It is our mantra here at LoJCLD to empower young children in our care by teaching and nurturing that builds self-worth, efficacy, courage, and confidence.
